Intro

Dicen que de la vista nace el amor... pero dicen que no hay que juzgar a un libro por su portada...

Alguna vez has visto un platillo que se ve delicioso, pero que al probarlo es de lo más insípido? Nada me puede frustrar más que eso en esta vida. Aunque nada me alegra más que probar una comida que parece no tener mucho que ofrecer, y de pronto sentir esa explosión de sabores con la cual no sabes si reír, llorar o gritar de la alegría!

No tengo un entrenamiento formal en gastronomía... pero si tengo un apetito voraz. No tengo un entrenamiento formal en arte... pero si tengo una pasión indescriptible por la expresión visual!

De qué color es un sabor? Una textura se ve y se siente igual? Cómo expresas una sensación gustativa de manera visual? Aun no lo se... pero habrá que averiguar.

Have you ever tasted a dish that looked delicious, but was bland in flavor? Nothing can be as devastating to me as having such an experience! But nothing can excite me more than trying a food that seems uninteresting, but that causes your mouth to explode in flavor so much, that you don't know if you want to laugh, cry or scream of excitement! 

I don't have a formal training in gastronomy.. but I do have a ferocious appetite. I don't have a formal training in art... but I do have a full on passion for visual expression!

What color is a flavor? Does texture look and feel the same? How do you express the sense of taste in a visual manner? I don't know yet...  but we'll find out.
